Struggling to remain relevant to its audience in the 2020 pandemic, Build-a-Bear Qatar was seeking a digital strategy to generate sales with its customer base. The opportunity was to first identify the target personas that would be excited to use/play/gift a Build-a-Bear product.

Then strategically align customer-centric, benefit rich messaging to the target audience, increasing the Build-a Bear brand resonance and intensity of demand for the product offering. The pre-launch phase included a series of digital marketing levers to engage with the target audience and generate awareness, interest, desire and action.

A media testing strategy was recommended to validate the target audience and messaging assumptions. Build-a-Bear was advised to leverage classic direct marketing strategies and corresponding tracking mechanisms to identify the most profitable marketing channels and the messages resonating with its audience.
